Introduction and History

The Oregon Women’s Drill Team Association (OWDTA) is an organization consisting of equestrian drill teams from Oregon and Washington.  Created and established in April 1991 with the following charter members:  Capital City, Cascade Sweethearts, Emerald Valley Sweethearts, Rhinestone Cowgirls, Silver Sage Riders, Sundancers, Western Express and Yaquina Wranglers.

OWDTA meets with all members several times per year to discuss membership, the State Meet, and pertinent information.  Officers of the organization are elected in the fall and take office in January.
